The cup quality is lovely, but we were really disappointed with the colour. From the sales photo, we had expected the red to be a stronger contrast. We understand there can be variations in how the glazes do come out, but we had expected more vibrancy. The cup did arrive really quickly and was well wrapped and in a nice presentation box.

One of the most striking Tenmoku cups I've seen. The base color is a glossy black with a silvery-blue sheen, and the red highlights are fascinating. Or is it a dense pattern of blue-black spots on a red cup? Either way, I think it's my new favorite. As usual, the cup was securely packed in the signature Tenmokus padded box, and shipping was very fast.

Absolutely gorgeous. The colours hold a "sleeper" punch to them. The more you contemplate the intricacies of the glaze the more striking the colours reveal themselves to be. This is a stunning cup. Love it!

I think this is the most underrated Tenmokus tea cup. It is stunning. The prettiest of all the tea cups I've gotten. It's also really good for brewing tea since it's one of the larger tea cups. I really love this one, it reminds me of magma and it's definitely a worthwhile purchase. Would love to see an Inferno teapot!

The original cup I received had a flaw in the glaze, so I photographed the flaw and contacted Tenmokus via email. Yuki replied immediately and sent me a replacement via FedEx Ground, which arrived in just a couple of days. The replacement cup was perfect! I was never so impressed with a customer service department as I was with Tenmokus! They have raised the bar in customer service. I have subsequently purchased 4 more of them. Don't hesitate to purchase this product. You definitely won't regret...
